Kathmandu – The release date of the upcoming Nepali film Kakakiki, produced by the team behind the popular television show Comedy Darbar, has officially been announced. The production team unveiled a new poster confirming that the film will be released nationwide from Bhadra 19 (September 4).
The newly released poster also reveals the looks of the film’s four lead actors, featuring actresses Gauri Malla, Tripti Nadkar, Rekha Thapa, and actor Mahesh Tripathi in striking character appearances.
The unusual avatars of the cast shown in the poster have added suspense surrounding the storyline. While the poster leaves much to the imagination, it suggests that the film will revolve around a mysterious plot. Audience curiosity had already grown since the makers first announced the film and released character posters earlier.
The film is jointly directed by Bikky Agrawal and Shraddha Prasai, with Anish Budhathoki serving as assistant director.
Kakakiki also stars Diya Maskey, Shishir Wangdel, Prakash Ghimire, Maotse Gurung, Rear Rai, Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar (Khabapu), Suwarna Thapa, Subash Gajurel, Manoj Gajurel, Elisa Bhog, and others.
The concept of the film is by Suman Agrawal, while the screenplay is written by Bikky Agrawal, Bikash Aryal, Saroj Bhandari, and Bishwas Timalsina. Cinematography has been handled by Sudip Baral’s team. The title art has been created by Trident Concept, while the poster design was completed by Karyalaya.
