
Kathmandu — Actress Sanisha Bhattarai is set to make her stage debut. She will be debuting through a play based on Parijat’s acclaimed novel Shirishko Phool.
In the play, Sanisha will be acting opposite actor Jeevan Luitel. The workshop for the play has already begun, and the stage performances are scheduled to start from the first week of Shrawan (mid-July).
Sanisha, who rose to fame through music videos, made her film debut with 12 Gaun, which became the third highest-grossing film in Nepali cinema history. Her recent film Narasimha Avatar was released recently.
She will be playing the lead role of Sakambari in the play being staged by Kantipur Theatre. She has already started participating in the workshop for the production.
