Kathmandu — The world’s first agriculture-focused game reality show, “Revolutionary Agriculture War,” is officially set to air from today (Thursday). The program will be broadcast on Himalaya Television at 8:00 PM and on the OSR Reality YouTube channel at 8:15 PM tonight.
A premiere show was held on Wednesday at City Center, Kathmandu, where the audience highly appreciated the program. Viewers praised its innovative concept and presentation. The show’s “Maha Host” (Grand Host) is none other than superstar Rajesh Hamal, while the concept, production, and direction are by Shailesh Kandel Kshetri.
According to director Kandel, the main objective of the show is to empower farmers, establish agriculture as a respected profession, and promote a positive societal attitude toward farming.
Grand Host Hamal expressed his belief that the show will contribute to the nation’s economy, motivate farmers, and inspire youth to engage in modern agriculture. He added that the program aims to educate viewers about the importance, challenges, and opportunities in agriculture, while offering both entertainment and inspiration.
The show will feature two competing teams — one of farmers and another of agriculture technicians — engaging in exciting challenges. According to the producers, “Revolutionary Agriculture War” represents a new experiment in Nepali television, aiming to connect the agricultural sector with technology, competition, and entertainment.
