Kathmandu: A new Nepali action-adventure film, ‘Hazaraunma Ek’, is set to be produced through a collaboration between Nirvana Production and DAD Production.
The film, directed by veteran filmmaker and journalist Subrat Acharya, is based on a story by Sita Maya, who also serves as the presenter. The project blends mystery, supernatural fantasy, and action, aiming to set a new benchmark in Nepali cinema with its grand visuals and high production quality.
The film will be shot in Nepali and later dubbed into Malayalam and Hindi for international audiences. Cinematography will be handled by Hari Humagain, while Dipendra Gautam (Michael) joins as executive producer.

Filming is scheduled to begin in February–March 2027, with a reported budget of around NPR 40 million. Most of the cast and crew will be from Nepal, while several artists and technicians from the Malayalam film industry are also expected to be part of the project.
