Kathmandu – The romantic song ‘Behal’ was officially released at a special program held in Kathmandu. The song features lyrics by Kalimpong-based lyricist Dr. Devendra Pradhan, music composed by Shankar Thapa ‘Smile’, and vocals by popular singers Sugam Pokharel and Rita KC.
The song has been arranged by Bisham Acharya, while mixing and mastering were done by Kishor Thapa.
The music video of the song is directed by Keshav Raj Bhatt. The video features Abhishek Shrestha and Sritika Shrestha in lead roles. According to the production team, the video was filmed over four days in Mustang and Pokhara.
Speaking at the release program, artists and guests praised the song for its strong lyrics, melodious composition and appealing visual presentation. Lyricist Dr. Pradhan shared that he remains actively involved in Nepali literature and songwriting, and chose to collaborate with composer Shankar Thapa ‘Smile’ as the music matched the emotional depth of the lyrics.
