Tank Budhathoki’s film ‘Man Binako Dhan’auspicious ceremony

Kathmandu: Singer and composer Tank Budhathoki has completed the auspicious ceremony for the film “Man Binako Dhan” which he is producing and directing. The ceremony was held on Friday morning with a puja at the Koteswar Mahadev Temple. Saroj Khanal clapped the slate, and young entrepreneur Tika Budhathoki broke the coconut, while child singer and actor Ashok Darji and Santosh Pant handed over the auspicious shirts. The filming of the movie has started from today.

The movie, titled after Tank Budhathoki’s hit song “Man Binako Dhan,” will feature child singer Ashok Darji in the lead role. Alongside Ashok Darji, the movie will also star Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapaliya, Nita Dhungana, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ramesh Biskarma, Ravindra Jha, Utsav Sapkota, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, A.R. Budhathoki, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Binay Adhikari, Aryan Nepal, Vijay Dangol, and other actors.

The story of the film has been written by the producer and director Tank Budhathoki himself, while the screenplay and dialogues are written by Shivam Adhikari. The movie, which will deal with social issues, will be distributed by Banktash Entertainment. The film’s producers are Bishnu Maya Mainali, and co-producers are GP Sangroula, Laxmi Giri, Vivek Nepal, and Vijaya Pandey. Minu Sharma is the executive producer.

Ashok Darji’s life was transformed through his first song “Man Binako Dhan Thulo Ki Dhan Binako Man,” which features Tank Budhathoki’s music. Darji is currently studying in class 8 in Kathmandu. The movie will feature Tank Budhathoki’s music, Saurabh Lama’s cinematography, Kabiraj Gahatraj’s choreography, Mitra D. Gurung’s editing, and Navaraj Sharma as the lead assistant director. Arun Regmi and Arjun Pokharel will be the production managers for the film.
