Kathmandu- Popular actor Aryan Sigdel is set to appear in a new musical film titled Bani, whose teaser has been officially released. The teaser was unveiled on Monday via OSR Digital, showcasing Sigdel in a distinctly different avatar. Actress Karoona Shrestha stars opposite him in the musical film.
Bani presents a tragic love story between a young man from Nepal and a young woman from Sikkim. In the video, Aryan portrays the Nepali youth who falls in love with Karoona’s character from Sikkim. The narrative explores the emotional ups and downs that follow their love, presented in an engaging and dramatic manner.
Earlier, two posters of Bani were released, portraying Aryan Sigdel in contrasting roles—one as an “angry boy” and the other as a “lover boy,” highlighting the film’s emotional depth and character variation.
The musical features lyrics, music, and vocals by Dinesh Chhetri, who also conceptualized the video. The dialogues have been written by Dinesh Chhetri along with Keshav Bhattarai. Besides Aryan Sigdel and Karuna Shrestha, the video also features performances by Sabin Kattel and Sushmita Shrestha.
The cinematography is handled by Utsav Dahal, while the editing is being done by Bikash Dahal. The musical film is directed by Subrat Acharya.
