“The organizer did not do the work as per the agreement – Elina Chauhan”

Kathmandu — During the “Aba Sunchha America” (“Now America Listens”) tour, singer Elina Chauhan, who returned to Nepal midway from the U.S., said, “I just couldn’t tolerate it anymore. Until then, I had been compromising because I didn’t want my friends who came with me to be affected. But when things went too far, I decided to return to Nepal before the program was over.”

Elina further shared, “The organizer did not do the work as per the agreement. They used abusive language and made threats. I didn’t feel safe, and that’s why I came back to Nepal.”

For the three-month tour, Badri Pangeni, Kala Lamsal, Pratap Das, and Elina Chauhan had gone to the U.S. together. Kala Lamsal had also returned to Nepal earlier, citing neglect by the organizer. Now, only Pratap Das and Badri Pangeni remain in the U.S. for the program.
