The shooting of the film ‘Mirmire’ has been completed.

Kathmandu: The shooting of the movie Mirmire, directed by Yam Sherpa, has been completed. The filming was wrapped up in 35 days. The movie was shot in various locations of Kavre and Chitlang in Makwanpur. Only one song is yet to be filmed.

“Only one song remains to be shot. We will shoot it when the time is suitable,” said director Sherpa.

Mirmire is scheduled to be released on Magh 1 (mid-January). The production team announced the release date a few days ago on the occasion of actress Sirjana Ninglekhu’s birthday. Presented by Yarsa Films, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, and Sirjana Ninglekhu in the lead roles. Other cast members include Mao Tse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, and Bholaraj Sapkota. The child artists featured in the film are Shaisa Gauchan, Divisha Pant, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.

Along with directing the film, Yam Sherpa has also written the story. Alok Shukla is the cinematographer. The producers of Mirmire are Nimu Sherpa, Chhomba Lama Sherpa, and Angchhiring Sherpa, while the co-producers are Govinda Bohora and Sudip Kunwar. The line producer is Birendra Shahi, and Rohit Kattel, a distributor and operator of RR Films, is the executive producer.

Sudip Kunwar is the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalang Limbu is in charge of makeup, and Dilip Pant is the production controller. The distribution rights of the film across the country have been taken by RR Films, represented by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha.
