
Kathmandu — The teaser of the film “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” has been released. The teaser highlights themes of dreams, struggles, love, and betrayal. Beginning with a wedding scene, the teaser focuses on the central character Bijay Baral and his dream of going to Korea. It revolves around his disputes with his father over the plan and how he is deceived by someone from his own village after reaching Kathmandu.
The teaser suggests that as Bijay gets entangled in confusion in Kathmandu, his dream becomes directionless. It reveals how difficult it can be to reach a destination that was chosen without even basic information. Carrying the hope of lifting his family out of hardship, the protagonist instead finds himself trapped in a vicious cycle of suffering.
Amidst all this, love and its joys are also depicted in the teaser. Alongside Bijay, actors Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, and Bholaraj Sapkota are featured.
Directed by Himal Neupane, “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22). Associate director of the film is Manish Raut, known for his role in Prem Geet 3.
The film has a strong lineup, including performances by Rear Rai, Bhavana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, Suman Thapa, among others. Produced under the Paperclip banner, the film’s producers are Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane, with executive producers Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, RK Manandhar, CR Basnet, Philip DC, and James Maharjan.
The story, screenplay, and dialogues of the movie are written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. The music has been composed by Thaneshwor Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, SD Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti. The cinematography is handled by Krishna Pariyar, with Naveen Gurung as the DOP.
Dinesh Bahadur Raut is the chief assistant director, while Tarkaraj Neupane, Ravindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash KC are assistant directors. Laxmanraj Paudel is the production controller. The teaser/trailer was cut by Shahil Khan, color grading by Supreme Parajuli, choreography by Sunil Kshetri, and action direction by Chulthe Kaji.
The distribution rights for “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu” have been acquired by Govinda Shahi’s Kafiya Films.
Following the all-time blockbuster Purnabahadurko Sarangi, this is Bijay Baral’s first film of the year in a lead role. On Monday, he received the National Film Award for Best Actor for Purnabahadurko Sarangi.
In 2081 B.S., Bijay and Keki are expected to deliver another blockbuster to the Nepali film industry with their lead roles in “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhka Dhagaharu.”
On the same occasion, after receiving National Film Awards for Best Actor and Best Editing at a ceremony held at the Presidential Residence in Maharajgunj, the film team honored Bijay Baral and Bharat Regmi on Monday.
