Kathmandu – On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, two posters in different moods of the Nepali film Parbati, presented by Nita Films, have been released. The film, to be directed by actress Nita Dhungana Adhikari, was introduced along with its release date announcement. The production team has set the release date for Magh 1 (mid-January).

In the first poster, Parbati is seen under a yellow umbrella, carrying a basket and a bottle of water, with a serious expression. This reflects the challenges she faces in life, her contemplative nature, and the hidden sensitivity within her. In the second poster, she appears in traditional village attire, with a slight smile and a shy demeanor, symbolizing her innocence, childhood joy, and easygoing outlook on life.

The story of the film is written by Nita Dhungana herself, while the screenplay and dialogues are by Shivam Adhikari. Cinematography will be handled by Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal. The production team includes Sanija Adhikari, Nursery Adhikari, and Pawan Dhungana. According to the production team, Parbati is a story blending humor, emotion, and social message, portraying the colors of life, the sweetness of relationships, and the emotions of struggle from the perspective of an ordinary character.

The film is set to begin shooting in Ashoj (September/October), but the full list of cast members and technical crew has not yet been revealed. According to director Adhikari, details about the actors and additional crew members will be announced in a few days. Rich Entertainment and Apple Entertainment will handle distribution within the Kathmandu Valley, while FD Company will be responsible for distribution outside the valley.
