Kathmandu: Actor Uttam Pradhan has arrived in Nepal from India for the upcoming film “Kalli”, which is set to begin filming soon. After more than a decade, Uttam is making a comeback to Nepali cinema. During this period, he had worked on a music video with actress Niruta Singh. It has been confirmed that Uttam will play the lead role in the movie. He is expected to stay in Nepal for 35 days.
Uttam Pradhan made his debut in the Nepali film industry 23 years ago with the movie Darpan Chhaya. Over the next decade, he acted in more than a dozen Nepali films. Later, he returned to Sikkim after being appointed as the Chairman of the Sikkim Film Development Board by the Sikkim government. After completing his tenure as chairman, Uttam continued his business ventures in Sikkim. Now, he appears set to resume his career in Nepali cinema.
