Abhishek Khadka plays the male lead in Kumari. A new face in Nepali cinema, he has been pursuing acting professionally for the past four years. He began his journey through theatre and trained under renowned acting coach Anup Baral. Abhishek made his film debut with Behuli from Meghauli, but Kumari is his second film and his first as a lead actor.
Six months ago, he also appeared in the popular stage play Sikrum, which received strong responses and helped filmmakers notice his acting skills. Currently, Abhishek is studying acting at Nepal Film Campus. Born in Jhapa, he is 21 years old.
Who is Aakriti Rajbhandari?
Aakriti Rajbhandari is the female lead of Kumari, and this film marks her acting debut. Prior to this, she appeared in the music video Bardali, sung by Sushant KC and Indrakala Rai. Her performance in the song gained significant attention and brought her into the spotlight.
Impressed by her screen presence, director Dinesh Raut decided to cast her in Kumari. Born in Chitwan, Aakriti is just 20 years old and is stepping into Nepali cinema with high expectations.
