Kathmandu — The first look of the film Ramita Ko Pirati has been unveiled, along with the official release date announcement. Directed by Sudipta, the film is confirmed to hit theaters on Magh 23.
The first look was released during a press conference organized in Lalitpur. Actress Ana Sharma plays the lead role in the film, starring alongside actors Dhiraj Magar and Vinay Shrestha. Singer Sameer Shrestha makes his acting debut through this film.
Being a female-centric story, the first look showcases various appearances of Ana Sharma. She portrays the character Rami, around whom the film’s story revolves focusing on her relationships and personal journey.
The film is executively produced by Ana Sharma and Santosh Lamsal, while R.P. Production serves as an associate producer.
The music of the film features contributions from Sushant KC, Sameer Shrestha, Mahesh Kafle, Asmita Adhikari, and Kushal Pokhrel.
With Shishir Bishankhe as the DOP, the film’s editing is by Sunil Subedi, color grading by Kapil Parajuli, and choreography by Katik Baral.
In terms of distribution, Rich Entertainment and Apple Entertainment will handle distribution within Kathmandu Valley, while FD Company will distribute outside the valley.
Speaking at the event as the chief guest, Dinesh DC, chairman of the Film Development Board, praised the project, stating that it carries a unique dimension and story, and extended his best wishes.
At the event, debut actor Sameer Shrestha shared that he joined the project as a musician but decided to act after being captivated by the storyline.
Similarly, actress Ana Sharma revealed that she had first heard the story four years ago and found it intriguing enough to take on the role. She expressed that “Ramita Ko Pirati” currently defines her life and expressed confidence that audiences will love the film’s storyline.
