Kathmandu – Arunima has filed for divorce and returned to the United States. She had married Yuvraj Shrestha from Dharan on Bhadra 3 (mid-August), but within less than a year, she has filed a divorce case against her husband in court. As she is now an American citizen, it has been reported that the case was registered through a legal representative a few days ago. After filing the divorce case, she returned to the U.S. on Tuesday.
She had come to Nepal last week with her mother. There were two reasons behind her visit. First, to file the divorce case against her husband. Second, to promote the web series “Ghar but in America”, in which she has acted.
While promoting the web series in various media outlets, she revealed that she had already filed for divorce against her husband in court.
