Kathmandu — The action film Paribartan, starring Sushil Shrestha and Anjana Baraili, is set to release nationwide this Friday, Magh 9, and its advance booking has officially opened. Cinemas across the country have started pre-bookings, while a few halls are yet to open ticket sales.
Nepal’s largest multiplex chain, QFX, has allotted 32 shows across Kathmandu and outside the valley. INI Cinemas has provided 15 shows, while One Cinemas has opened bookings for 9 shows. Similarly, FCube has allotted 4 shows and Big Movies has given 3 shows. At the time of this report, Paribartan has secured more than 100 shows nationwide, with more expected as additional halls open bookings.
The film has been gaining attention through its recently released songs and trailer. The song “Pakheko Chiuri” has become highly popular among audiences, while the trailer has crossed over 1.1 million views in a short period.
Along with Sushil Shrestha and Anjana Baraili, the film features Saroj Khanal, Karishma Manandhar, Buddhi Tamang, Hemant Budhathoki, and Subash Meche in key roles. Produced under the Divyasi Films banner, Paribartan is produced by Deepak Siwakoti, who has also written the story. The screenplay and dialogues are by Shivam Adhikari.
Made in the action–suspense genre, the film includes editing by Bande Prasad, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and music by SD Yogi. The action direction is handled by Shree Shrestha, who has recently been widely praised for his work. The film is distributed by RR Films in association with OSR Digital and is set for an all-Nepal release this Friday.
