Kathmandu — The upcoming Nepali film Hami Teen Bhai, set to hit theatres on Chaitra 13, has been granted a Universal Certificate by the Central Film Censor Board. The board approved the film for viewing by audiences of all age groups.
Director Madhusudan Bhattarai confirmed the censor approval, stating, “The film has already passed censorship. Since it has received a Universal Certificate, viewers of all ages will be able to watch it.”
The film has been widely discussed since the beginning of its production, and with the release date approaching, the makers have intensified promotional activities.
Produced under the banner of Prasiddhi Cine Arts Pvt. Ltd., the film is produced by Trirant Shrestha and Manoj Shrestha.
Hami Teen Bhai is a comedy-drama based on a social storyline featuring a large ensemble cast including:
Vinod Nyaupane, Laxmi Bardewa, Kushal Bishta, Ashma Giri, Jhanvi Basnet, Falit Rai, Rajaram Poudel, Rabindra Jha, Bishnu Sapkota (Harke Haldar), Bikash Chapagai, Sushma Nirola, Yadav Devkota (Sarape), Anju Hamal, Tara Sharma, Pawan KC, Rama Bishta, Biren Shrestha, Sushma Zimba, Khinn Bahadur Bhandari (Bhole), Govinda Prasad Paudel, Bhumika Giri, Tekraj Paudel, Amritman Maharjan, among others.
The executive producer is Bikram Tamang, with co-producers Bhaktalal Shrestha, Pratima Thapa Pokharel, and Durgalaxmi Pandey.
Presented by Sajit Mahat, the film’s screenplay and dialogues are written by Shivam Adhikari.
Cinematography is done by Shiv Dhakal, while Banish Shah is the editor. Music for the film is composed by Saap Shakti and Babul Giri.
Choreography is handled by Kamal Rai and Indra Dev Maharjan, background score by Samrat Thapa, sound mixing by Mukesh Shah, and color grading by Renish Phago.
The film’s chief assistant directors are Ramji Raut and Gyankumar Kattel, with action direction by Dev Maharjan.
Graphics are designed by Samir Mia, art direction by Dinesh Lama ‘Gainda’, and production control by Sandesh Rai (Bhanja).
Post-production work has been completed by Motion Studio.
Hami Teen Bhai will be distributed by National Cine Group Pvt. Ltd., while OSAR Digital serves as the digital partner.
