Kathmandu – Popular Nepali model Sushant Dhakal has surprised audiences with a completely different look and character in the newly released song video “Dhokha.” Known for his romantic image and stylish appearance in music videos, Sushant appears in a darker and more intense avatar this time, drawing attention from viewers and the music industry alike.
The music video of “Dhokha,” sung by Pratap Das, has quickly become a topic of discussion after its release. Centered around betrayal in love and the revenge that follows, the video presents an emotional and cinematic storyline that stands out from typical romantic music videos. Alongside Sushant, model Smarika Dhakal also delivers a striking performance, adding depth to the narrative through a double role.
One of the biggest talking points of the video is Sushant’s physical transformation. Usually seen as slim and fit in his previous projects, the model gained weight specifically for this role in order to make the character look more believable. His villainous appearance and intense expressions have left many fans surprised, as it marks a major shift from the charming romantic roles he is generally associated with.
Speaking about the project, Sushant shared that he wanted to experiment with something different rather than repeating similar roles. According to him, “Dhokha” gave him an opportunity to challenge himself as an actor and step out of his comfort zone. Director Keshavraj Bhatt said he worked harder on this project compared to many of his previous videos.
