Kathmandu: The official song “Salala Karnali” by Pramod & Parampara Band has been released. The music video was unveiled on Friday during a special event held at Apricus Café in Kathmandu.
The launch program, organized with the support of Gaunbesi Logistics, was attended by members of both the production and artist teams involved in the project.
The song features vocals by renowned singer Pramod Kharel, with supporting vocals by Srishti Budha. The lyrics and music were composed by Suraj Thapa, while the musical arrangement was jointly handled by Parampara Band and Thapa’s team. The song’s introductory lyrics were written by Bhim Bisi.
The music video stars Pramod Kharel alongside model Ashwini Shahi. Filmed in the Karnali region, the video showcases the area’s stunning natural beauty. Cinematography was led by Arjun Tiwari and his team, while the video was directed by Laxman Paudyal. Editing was done by Milan Bishwakarma, and the project was produced by Deepa Sitaula.
Speaking at the event, Pramod Kharel described “Salala Karnali” as one of the band’s most anticipated releases. He said the team had invested significant effort in both the audio and visual aspects of the project and expressed confidence in the final product, adding that it is now open to audience feedback and appreciation.
