Ashish Rana Magar

Ashish Rana Magar, popularly known by his stage name Laure, is a renowned Nepali rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Pokhara, Nepal, he rose to fame through the Nepali rap battle platform “Raw Barz,” where his powerful lyrics and freestyle rap quickly captured public attention. Laure is considered one of the pioneers of modern Nepali hip-hop, often referred to as “Nephop.” His debut song Mero Solta and other hits like Nephop Ko Bato, Case No. 420, and Laure Ko Fashion helped solidify his place in the music industry. In addition to his music career, Laure also ventured into acting, making his film debut in the 2016 Nepali movie Tandav. With his deep voice, unique style, and ability to blend Western rap influences with Nepali culture, he remains one of the most influential figures in Nepal’s contemporary music scene.
