Kathmandu: One of Nepali cinema’s most celebrated on-screen pairs, Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar, are set to reunite in the upcoming feature film Rato Ghera (The Red Circle). The announcement comes after the duo won widespread acclaim for their performances in the blockbuster Jari.
The film will be produced under the banner of Bishram Films Pvt. Ltd. and directed by Anil Budha Magar. According to the production team, Rato Ghera will present a socially and emotionally driven story, aiming to deliver both meaningful entertainment and a powerful message.
A Fan-Favorite Pair Returns
Dayahang and Miruna became one of Nepal’s most loved on-screen couples following the success of Jari, where their natural chemistry and compelling performances earned praise from audiences and critics alike. Their reunion has already generated excitement, making Rato Ghera one of the most anticipated Nepali films currently in development.
Miruna’s New Project After National Award Win
The film announcement also comes shortly after Miruna Magar received the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Unko Sweater. The recognition has further heightened anticipation for her next collaboration with Dayahang Rai.

The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films Pvt. Ltd., led by Govinda Shahi. With the return of the successful Jari duo, Rato Ghera is already being viewed as one of the year’s most eagerly awaited Nepali films, with audiences expecting another memorable cinematic experience from the pair.
