Kathmandu, Nepal — The premiere of the highly anticipated Nepali movie Bom Bahadur took place in Darjeeling, India, ahead of its release on December 20, 2024, in both Nepal and India. The event, organized by Okhli Dhiki Productions, was held at the Gorkha Rangamanch Bhawan, where the film’s cast and crew were honored for their hard work.
Directed by John Rai and produced by Sanjeev Sarki, Bom Bahadur explores the turbulent journey of its titular character against the backdrop of the 1986 Gorkhaland movement. Attendees at the premiere praised the movie for its emotional depth and the compelling portrayal of struggle.
Notably, lead actor Saugat Malla was absent from the event due to other filming commitments, but other stars including Anisha Rasaili, Ajay Pradhan, Shantila Tamang, Vashist Karki, and Prabhat Pakhrin were present to support the film.
With its powerful storytelling and strong performances, Bom Bahadur is expected to captivate audiences when it releases later this month.
