
Kathmandu – Nepali movie “Actor: Take One,” which hit the theatres last week, entered its second week on a relatively promising note in audience response as it had 102 shows on the first day of the second week, according to distributor DCN. The producers, however, remained mum over the first week box office collection.
The movie is also being screened internationally. Already lead actor Pradeep Khadka has flown to Japan to attend the release of the film. A couple of days ago, the film was screened in Japan, hundreds of viewers sat down to watch accompanied by Khadka. Khadka is going to present several shows in various cities of Japan before flying to the US. The US and Canada’s distribution rights have been bought by the company associated with the actor. It is also scheduled for a release in Europe.
The audiences were demanding its sequel, and its climax is being compared with the decade-old Nepali blockbuster Loot. Director Rajan Bhusal was highly praised, and Pradeep Khadka once again proved himself as an actor with this movie. Among them, new face Divya Rayamajhi has been loved by the audiences, whereas Raj Ballav Koirala, who comes back after a decade, was also liked by all. Likewise, actress Anna Sharma was also appreciated as she made a comeback to the big screen after some years.
Pradeep, Anna, Divya, Raj Ballav alongside Divya Dev, Srijana Adhikari, Usha Rajak, Sushil Sitaula plays in major roles. Akash Baral and Rajan Bhusal have done the screenplay of this movie. Producers of this movie are under the banner of Adhrit Films and A Moti Film, Thaman Kumar Bhandari, creative producer Moti Karki, and co-producer Anish Bhusal.
