
Kathmandu- The Nepali film Draupadi has been selected for the Paradise Film Festival in Germany. The film will be showcased at the festival, which will be held this March. The film, shot in Karnali, is also being prepared to be sent to several other festivals.
Draupadi was filmed at various scenic locations in Karnali, including the Shey Phoksundo Lake in Dolpa. The film was made with an international market in mind. It features performances by Ashwini Shahi, Ravi Od, Kabiraj Bham, Jelsen Adhikari, Sujata Timilsina, Bishnu Thadrai, Prakash Ghyawali, Sita Baudel, Suraj Adhikari, and Rishiraj Acharya himself.
The story, screenplay, dialogues, songs, and direction of the film are by Rishiraj Acharya. The songs feature the voices of Ravi Od and Indrakala Rai, while Ritu Acharya and Subash Thadrai are the co-producers of the film. The film was produced under the banner of RB Movies, with Rishiraj Acharya and Prakash Ghyawali as the producers.
