Kathmandu — In the ongoing controversy surrounding Surakshya Pant, political leader Ramkumari Jhakri has voiced her support. In a recent interview, she stood by Surakshya, offering encouragement and saying, “Surakshya ji, you don’t need to back down or change your opinion.”
Clarifying further, she said, “In a democracy or republic, everyone has the right to express their opinion. Surakshya ji has also expressed her views—there is nothing wrong with that, and she does not need to apologize.”
According to leader Jhakri, “Surakshya is a bold and intellectual actress. Even though her remarks have sparked controversy, she made them after thorough study regarding the former king, and what she said is based on truth.”
