Kathmandu – The pre-teaser of the upcoming Nepali film “Balidan”, which is scheduled for release during this year’s Fulpati (a significant day during Dashain festival), has been officially released. The video was made public as a birthday tribute to the film’s lead actor, Samir Bhatt.
The pre-teaser showcases powerful action scenes featuring Samir Bhatt, accompanied by a patriotic narration that says:
“The nation’s concern. The soil seeks the one, whom the mother gave birth to. Whose blood boils. A son who bears the mother’s pain and the nation’s pride, and never lets it bow down.”
The video ends with a fierce scream from Samir, heightening the emotional and dramatic impact.
According to the film’s director, Santosh Sen, Samir possesses all the qualities of a true actor, and Balidan brings all those traits to light. Sen mentioned that the pre-teaser is just a glimpse of Samir’s performance, and more glimpses from the series will be released gradually.
Alongside Samir Bhatt, the movie features performances by Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Richa Sharma, Kavita Rai, Hemant Budhathoki, and Prem Puri. The film is presented by Aasusen Films Pvt. Ltd., with Pawan Bradford Bisht as the producer and Prem Puri as the executive producer.
