Kathmandu: The release date of the movie “Kumbha” has been finalized. Written and directed by Randhir Shrestha—who has long been active in music video direction and film cinematography—the movie is set to release nationwide on Mangsir 12 (November 28).
Produced under the banners of Aeras Production and Dhruva Astro Vastu Studio, the film will be released in both Nepali and Hindi languages.
The movie also features South Indian actor Surendra Thakur in a key role. “Kumbha” is an action genre film starring debut actor Ashok Aryan, veteran actors Sunil Thapa and Sushil Pokharel, along with Afsana Thapa, Rohit Rumba, and Srishti Khadka in lead roles.
The cinematography has been done by the director Randhir Shrestha himself. Samrat Basnet is the action director, while Randhir Shrestha, Dhruva Raj Parajuli, and Rajesh Sah are involved in the production. Ishwar Ballabh Upreti is the executive producer.
The film has been edited by Sandesh Shah and Dhruva Raj Parajuli, and its distribution rights have been acquired by Shree Ram Balaji Films.
