Kathmandu – Renowned singer Samikshya Adhikari has won the Best Female Playback Singer award at the National Music Awards 2081 for her soulful performance in the song “Bujhina Maile” from the movie Boksiko Ghar.
Expressing her gratitude upon receiving the award, Samikshya shared an emotional message:
“This achievement is not a result of my journey alone. I thank lyricist Prakash Saput dai, whose words hold soul, emotions, and a deep message. I am also grateful to producer Keki Adhikari didi, who gave me the opportunity to lend my voice to a film that carries such powerful social themes.”
She shared her happiness through a heartfelt Facebook post. Currently one of the most in-demand singers in Nepal, Samikshya is known for her versatility and is frequently approached to sing for various films. The award ceremony took place last Saturday at the Sunrise Convention Hall, Godawari, celebrating excellence in Nepali music across 14 categories.
