Kathmandu — The upcoming film Balidan has unveiled a dramatic 60-foot-long poster, displayed on the exterior of Lhotse Mall in Gongabu. In the poster, actor Samir Bhatt is shown drenched in blood and depicted in a furious expression as he aggressively attacks a human figure using a sharp, spear-like weapon resembling a bear claw. His face reflects intense rage. The dark clouds in the sky, the shadowy ground, and the blazing flames in the background give the poster a more symbolic and cinematic feel.
With the release of the poster, director Santosh Sen stated that Balidan marks the beginning of a cinematic revolution. Alongside Sameer, the film also stars Saugat Malla, Kavita Rai, Arpan Thapa, Richa Sharma, Hemant Budhathoki, and Prem Puri, among others. The movie is scheduled to release during this year’s Dashain festival, on Phulpati (Ashoj 13).
