Kathmandu – Demonstrating empathy and social responsibility, popular comedian Kedar Prasad Ghimire, widely known as “Magne Budha”, has extended financial support of Rs. 51,000 to Sita Subedi, the winner of Ms. Nepal International 2023, who is currently battling serious health issues.
Ghimire personally visited Sita at Suddhigram Ayurvedic Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment, and handed over the financial aid directly. On this occasion, the organizer of the Ms. Nepal International pageant, Nishukant Jha, was also present.
“It is painful to see such a capable, positive, and active individual going through such a difficult time. Though my support may be small, I hope it brings her some encouragement and strength,” said Ghimire. He also called upon others to come forward and extend help during this time of crisis.
From the Ms. Nepal International side, organizer Jha expressed that the heartfelt support provided by artist Ghimire was both thoughtful and inspiring. Ghimire had previously announced a donation of Rs. 50,000 to Subedi during the launch of a new edition of the Mrs. Nepal pageant held in Lalitpur.
Sita, who won the title of Ms. Nepal International in 2023, has been undergoing treatment for lung cancer for some time. She has also been actively involved in social work and is currently focusing on rest and medical treatment.
