Kathmandu — This Saturday, a special screening of the film Satidevi will be held in Virginia, USA. Organizers have stated that the screening is being organized on the occasion of the Teej festival. The film will be shown in Fairfax, Virginia.
Written, produced, and directed by Laxman Subedi, the movie features Malika Mahat, Ramesh Budhathoki, Sandip Babu Lohani, Kul Bahadur Adhikari, Srijana Adhikari, child artist Harshika Wali, and Manjila Baniyan.
At the National Film Awards 2080, organized by the Film Development Board, Satidevi won the Special Film Award category. So far, it has won a dozen top awards. Sources say the special show is being organized because it is an award-winning film.
