“Sita Subedi has passed away.”

Kathmandu – Dancer and model Sita Subedi has passed away. She died this morning at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. She had been battling lung cancer for the past four months. The 40-year-old had been on a ventilator for the past month.

Sita was known for her unique ability to dance with one leg. She was the founder of Classic Nepal Foundation, Miss International 2023, a motivational speaker, singer, and a gold medalist in intermediate-level Kathak dance.
