Kathmandu – Director and producer Santosh Sen, of one of the most highly anticipated films in the Nepali film industry, Balidan, has expressed his unwavering belief in the project. He stated that the film is not merely a source of entertainment, but also a powerful expression of patriotism and a sense of duty towards one’s mother.“It was extremely challenging to bring the subject matter we chose onto the screen. After a long period of persistent patience and hard work, the film is finally being released. The core of this film is love, compassion, and duty towards the nation and one’s mother,” said director Sen.
“The performances of the cast have played a vital role in making this film successful. The story and visuals we’ve presented will evoke strong emotions of love for the country and for one’s mother in the audience. At the same time, the film also conveys a message about how political manipulation deceives and exploits ordinary people.”
Sen claimed that the making and presentation of Balidan is of high quality, and added:“We are born from our mother’s womb and nurtured in the lap of our motherland. These two are the foundations of our life. This very foundation has been captured in the film. Watching this movie, the audience will not only be entertained, but also feel a surge of energy and passion the kind that sends chills down your spine.”
