Kathmandu- Actress Samriddhi Aryal has said that she plays a significant role in the movie “Barishta Balram”. She stated that her presence in the film appears at important times and places. “Wherever I appear in the film, I feel it’s an impactful role,” said Samriddhi, “I’ve had the opportunity to portray a character that influences the two lead characters.”

Having worked opposite Vijay Baral, she mentioned that she tried to perform within Vijay’s acting zone. “Both Vijay Baral and Dayahang Rai are senior and outstanding actors with strong dialogue delivery, so it was definitely a challenge,” she said. “For me, this film became a learning opportunity.” When she was first offered the film and heard that Dayahang and Vijay were part of it, she felt encouraged to take on the role, thinking it would be a valuable learning experience.

She shared that working on her first film “Farki Farki”, which involved mostly new actors, was relatively easy. However, in “Varishta Balram”, working alongside seasoned actors brought both a sense of nervousness and learning. Still, she claims that she is not just a “showpiece” in the film. She believes her role holds its own alongside the two veteran actors. “My character plays an impactful role in supporting Balram’s journey,” Samriddhi added. She believes this character will contribute meaningfully to her acting career. Playing the role of Kusum, she said, “I don’t know how popular this character will become in the future, but I feel it’s one that audiences will remember.”
