“Paran” bookings open

Kathmandu — The debut production “Paran” by Shekhar Golchha of the well known Golchha Group and Ranjit Acharya of the advertising agency Prisma Advertising has opened for booking. The film, set to release tomorrow, Friday (14th), has received an enthusiastic response with strong nationwide show allocations. Produced under the banner of Bioscope Cinema, the film has already secured over 64 shows across the country, with the possibility of additional screenings being added later tonight.

Carrying an emotional family storyline, Paran is expected to attract a large number of family audiences to Nepali theaters. The film marks the directorial debut of Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku) and features several veteran actors in key roles.

In addition to lead actor Shah, the cast includes Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraily, Keki Adhikari, Praveen Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subratraj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child actor Aryadeep Acharya.

The film’s songs feature lyrics written by director Deepak Acharya himself, with music composed by Rhythm Kandel, and vocals by Pramod Kharel, Pushpan Pradhan, and Rachana Rimal. The cinematography (DOP) is by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung. Choreography is handled by Sunil Chhetri. The production managers are Anish Adhikari and Samar Chaulagain, while Ajay Upadhyaya serves as the executive producer.
