Kathmandu- The film “Man Binako Dhan”, starring child singer Ashok Darji in the lead role, is currently being screened across the country in its third week. With a collection of around NPR 35 million, the film has received positive feedback from audiences nationwide.

Based on the real-life story of actor Darji, the film appears to have won the hearts of viewers. Videos of audiences hugging Darji and crying have gone viral on social media. From school students to their parents, audiences have been seen leaving theaters in tears. Since the film’s first day, people from Generation Z to senior citizens have been attending screenings.

On Saturday, the film’s director, Tank Budhathoki, expressed on his Facebook that he was happy to receive feedback stating that “Man Binako Dhan”, which highlights the relationship and duties between teacher and student, is a must-watch for all teachers and students.

Budhathoki also shared that the production team is ready to provide support and discounts to schools across the country that wish to screen “Man Binako Dhan”. He even shared his phone number for schools to contact him directly for assistance. The film effectively portrays important social themes such as the teacher-student relationship, family values, and the significance of duty and moral education.

The film features performances by Ashok Darji, Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapaliya, Nita Dhungana, Ramesh Bishwakarma, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ravindra Jha, Parvati Adhikari, AR Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Aryan Pokhrel, Vijay Dangol, and other actors.

Produced and directed by Tank Budhathoki, the story of “Man Binako Dhan” was written by Budhathoki himself, with the screenplay and dialogues by Shivam Adhikari. The film was produced under Tank Budhathoki Productions by Vishnumaya Mainali, with executive producer Minu Sharma (Sapana). Co-producers include GP Sangrola, Bibek Nepal, and Vijaya Pandey. Tikaram Budhathoki served as the film’s creative director. Music was composed by Tank Budhathoki, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, choreography by Kaviraj Gehtraj and Ramji Lamichhane, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
