Kathmandu- The screening of “Film Jerry on Top”, which has been shown in Nepal and various countries around the world, has now been confirmed for Malaysia. The film, which has already grossed over NPR 120 million in Nepal, will soon be released in Malaysia.
Hari Bhattarai, a Malaysia-based businessman and Asia-Pacific coordinator of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), has purchased the screening rights for the film in Malaysia. Bhattarai stated that “Jerry on Top” will have a box office release in Malaysia starting from the first week of December. He added that the film will be released in major cities at the box office, and in areas with large Nepali populations, it will be screened through whichever medium is most convenient.
Alongside Nepal, the film has been released simultaneously at the box office in Australia and the United States. It is also being screened in various countries across Europe, the Middle East, and is currently showing in the UK, Korea, and Thailand. Starring actor Anmol KC, the film has achieved the highest box office success of his career and continues to generate strong demand in international markets.
Produced under the banner of Ananya Films and presented by Saroj Nyaupane, the film is directed by Suyog Gurung. Alongside Anmol KC, the cast includes Aanchal Sharma, Jasita Gurung, Bhuvan KC, Kedar Ghimire, Usha Khadgi, Suraksha Pant, and others.
