‘PR’ Movie Title Track Released

Kathmandu – Ahead of its release this Friday, the Nepali feature film PR has unveiled its title track, “PR Ko Chakkarle”, giving audiences an early look into the emotional tones that shape the story.

The music video features lead actors RA Suraj Paudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, and Ashma Adhikari. While the visuals highlight youthful charm and on-screen chemistry, the song subtly hints at the deeper conflict the film explores—how migration impacts relationships, identity, and dreams. The track carries music by Manas Raj, with vocals by Manas Raj and Samikshya Adhikari, and choreography by director Shovit Basnet himself.

Produced under the Salon Salina Films banner, PR centers on the aspirations and struggles of Nepali youth seeking opportunities abroad. According to the producers Laxman Sapkota and Pradeep Dahal, the film delves into the social realities behind foreign migration—family pressure, emotional distance, and the pursuit of a ‘better life.’

The ensemble cast includes RA Suraj Paudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari, Mastani Dagi, Bimala Khatri, Ganesh Budhathoki, Max Babu, Krishna Thapa, and Naveen Ghayal. Veteran actors Nir Shah, Gauri Malla, Ravindra Khadka, Uttam KC, and Dikpal Karki appear in special roles.

Written by Ganesh Budhathoki, edited by Bande Prasad, and shot by Saurav Sayami and Saurav Lama, the film is presented by Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari. Distribution is being handled by RR Films.

Director Shovit Basnet said the song is only a small preview of what the film offers. “PR blends romance, action, and a strong social message. The story reflects the lived experiences of thousands of Nepali youths,” he shared during the song’s release.

The title track is now available on Saloma’s official YouTube channel, and the film is expected to spark conversations around the emotional cost of migration when it hits theaters this Friday.
