Kathmandu – Nepali singer and composer Prijan Tarali, who has been active in the music field for nearly fifteen years, has released his latest song titled “Piya Piya Tuje Dil Diya.” Although primarily a Nepali composition, the track incorporates occasional Hindi lines, giving it a fresh fusion appeal. The dance number features vocals by Prijan himself along with popular singer Eleena Chauhan. The lyrics and music are solely composed by Prijan, while the arrangement has been done by Keshav Badu and the mixing handled by Kumar Rana.
The music video showcases models Sunil Chhetri and Salina Khatri, whose dynamic performance adds energy to the song. The choreography is done by Abi Vagi and Ritesh Sinjali Magar, while cinematography is handled by Navaraj Upreti and editing by Amrit Chapagain. Sunil Chhetri has also directed the music video.
Prijan expressed high hopes for the song, stating that the responses in the first day since its release on his official YouTube channel have been encouraging. He believes that “Piya Piya” may not be an overnight viral number but will gradually become a song that listeners keep coming back to. “This is one of my most hardworking projects so far, and I trust listeners will show their love,” he shared during a conversation with Artist Khabar.
To date, Prijan has released five official songs. His first song, released about 13 years ago, was “Namaskar Namaskar” in collaboration with singer Melina Rai. Although not consistently active in producing official tracks, he continued performing and stayed connected to music. He later released “Jaanu Maiya” seven years ago, featuring Durgesh Thapa. His other notable song includes “Hero Number One.”
For the past six years, Prijan was in the UAE and was unable to produce official songs, but continued to perform at dohori evenings. Now back in Nepal, he plans to fully focus on his music career and continue releasing official songs. He has revealed that another dance number is already in the pipeline.
