Minister Kharel Praises Ujjwal Thapa Documentary as “Mind- and Heart-Touching”

Kathmandu — Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has described the documentary Dimaag Ghochne Manchhe, based on the life of late Bibeksheel Nepali Party founder Ujjwal Thapa, as a film that touches both the mind and the heart.

Speaking after a special screening organized by the Ujjwal Thapa Foundation at a cinema hall in Labim Mall, Lalitpur, on Wednesday, Minister Kharel said Thapa’s life and his vision for alternative politics remain deeply inspiring.

He also noted that Thapa’s path through entrepreneurship, social activism, and alternative politics is still highly relevant today. The screening was attended by personalities from social, political, and artistic fields. The foundation informed that the documentary will be released in cinemas across Nepal starting this Friday.
