‘Hunter’ Wraps Shooting in 45 Days, Heads into Post-Production

Kathmandu — The shooting of the action-drama film Hunter has been officially completed, with the production wrapping up in just 45 days. The film has now entered the post-production phase, the makers confirmed.

Shot across various locations in western Nepal, Hunter draws inspiration from real-life characters and stories rooted in the Sudurpaschim region. While based on real events, the narrative has been fictionalized to create an engaging cinematic experience.

The film marks the directorial debut of Jivan Singh, who has also taken on the roles of writer and editor, making Hunter a deeply personal project. According to Singh, the movie is designed as an action-packed entertainer with a strong regional storyline.

Actor Arun Chhetri plays the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast including Prakash Shah, Garima Sharma, Saroj Khanal, Ruja Raut, Supragya Sharma, Ramesh Budhathoki, Sushil Pokharel, Roshani Dahal, Soni Lagun, and Gita Adhikari.

Cinematography is handled by Krishna Thapa, with action direction by Shukraraj Sah. The film features choreography by Bikram Swar and Sanjay Khimjim, while the music is composed by Babul Giri.

Produced under the banner of Catch Cock Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Trident Concept, Hunter is backed by producers Mamta Singh, Govind Raj Rokka, and Raj A. Bhatt, with Manish Chand serving as co-producer. Royal Bhimsen is the executive producer.

The release date of Hunter has yet to be announced. The production team stated that the official release schedule will be revealed after the completion of all post-production work.
