Shooting of ‘Kalli’ Wraps Up with Pooja Sharma’s Item Dance

Kathmandu — The shooting of the upcoming Nepali film Kalli, set for release on Falgun 1, 2082 (February 13, 2026), has officially wrapped up. The final shoot was completed in Chobhar with actress Pooja Sharma performing an item dance, marking the film’s end-clap.

According to producer Kiran Nepali, Sharma danced in the song “Kya Ramri” over two days. The song features music by Ashish Aviral, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and lyrics by Surendra Rana, with vocals by Ashish Aviral and Melina Rai. Alongside Sharma, Uttam Pradhan, Kiran Shrestha, and actor Sulakshan Bharti also appear in the dance sequence.

Sharma revealed that this is her first-ever item dance in her career, and she expressed excitement at being part of the performance.

Produced under Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Production, the film is directed by Laxman Sunar with story writing by Mahesh Dawadi. The film features Uttam Pradhan, Sougat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Benisha Hamal, Sulakshan Bharti, Nazir Hussen, Barsha Raut, Begum Nepali, Binod Nyaupane, among others in lead roles. Child actors include Upesh Dhakal, Manjila Baniya, and Samarpan Khatiwada.

The film was primarily shot in Jumla and other locations. Cinematography was handled by Nisal Paudel, editing by Milan Shrestha, and music by Ashish Aviral, Sarit Rai, and Ketan Kshetri.

Production head Suraj Acharya stated that the teaser has already been released, while the item song will be unveiled in the coming days.
