Kathmandu — Shooting of Mitjyu has been officially wrapped within just one month. The film is directed by Anil Budha Magar, who completed the entire shooting schedule in record time.
Shooting began with a formal auspicious ceremony on the occasion of Basanta Panchami, and the production team managed to finish filming on schedule. Producer Janak Gharti Magar said the smooth coordination between artists and technical crew helped the team complete the shoot within the planned time frame.
According to the production team, Mitjyu is based on a social storyline and was filmed at different locations in western Nepal.
The film features well-known Nepali actors including Dayahang Rai and Saugat Malla in major roles. Dancer and television personality Teriya Fauja Magar is also part of the cast and makes her acting debut through this film.
Director Anil Budha Magar said the shooting experience was enjoyable and highly productive, crediting the entire team for their strong collaboration on set. Mitjyu marks his second directorial project. He had previously directed the film Gharjwai, which was well received.
The makers have stated that post-production work will begin soon, following the successful completion of the shooting phase.
