Kathmandu — Shooting of the film Karki Sailo has officially begun from Dhankuta. The production team confirmed that filming started on Tuesday in Dhankuta. The movie stars Jitu Nepal and Priyana Acharya (popularly known as Munni) in the lead roles.
The film is being directed by Rajendra Basnet, who said the project is being shot on a one-month schedule. According to him, the shooting locations include Dhankuta, Barahachhetra and Chatara.
Along with Jitu Nepal and Priyana Acharya, the cast also includes Sushil Pokharel, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Manshi Sharma, Manil Tamang, Renuka Acharya, Dipsan Limbu, Rhoda Rai and Kamal Devkota.
The makers have confirmed that Priyana Acharya will be paired opposite Jitu Nepal in the film. This marks their first on-screen collaboration. Priyana previously appeared in the film Jharipachhiko Indreni.
The film is being produced under the banner of Karnabahadur Films Pvt. Ltd., with Balkumar Rai as the producer. The presentation is by Krishna Bhagat Chamling.
The chief assistant director is Rozal Thapa, while cinematography is handled by Dambar Rai. Action direction is by Kiran Dahal, music is composed by Dipsan Limbu, and production management is led by C.B. Bhandari.
The production team stated that the release date of Karki Sailo will be announced after the completion of shooting.
