Kathmandu – A new folk-style song titled “Maya Hirikkai” by popular singer and composer Basanta Thapa and singer Sunitami Pariyar has been released. The music video premiered on Sunitami Pariyar’s official YouTube channel.
The song features lyrics by Navaraj Pant, music composed by Basanta Thapa, and arrangement by Shyam Shwet Rasaili.
Directed by Gamvir Bista, the video stars popular actor Pal Shah alongside Sunitami Pariyar herself. The video was shot by Pawan Susling’s team, edited by Prabin Bhatt, and choreographed by Prashant Magar.
Released on Friday evening, the song has been receiving positive responses from audiences.
Singer Sunitami expressed confidence that listeners will appreciate the folk-style track. She began her musical journey in 2009 (BS 2066) with the song “Bhirma Larkyo Khar” and has since recorded around 900 songs, with several hits to her credit.
