New York — Applications for Miss Nepal North America 2026 have officially opened, with organizers announcing a major venue change for this year’s Grand Finale.
According to Dreams Universal, the organizing body, applications opened on Thursday. While the previous eight editions were held in New York, the 2026 edition will take place in Washington D.C., organizer-in-chief Shailendra Shrestha confirmed.
Shrestha also revealed that USA Entertainment, a company run by renowned event organizer Chandra Lama, will join as the local host partner for this year’s pageant.
He added that the venue shift will make the 2026 edition “distinct, grand, and more impactful” compared to previous years. The event is expected to feature notable celebrities from the Nepali film industry as well as other professional sectors.
The Grand Finale is scheduled for July 25 (Sawan 9–10).
Eligibility Requirements
Participants must:
- Be women aged 18 to 29
- Be unmarried
- Reside in the United States or Canada
- Have completed at least High School / Plus Two or equivalent
- Have a minimum height of 5 feet 1 inch
This year’s pageant is being organized under the theme: “Empowering Nepali Women, Empowering the Next Generation.”
