Kathmandu – The makers of upcoming Nepali film Baa: Ek Yoddha have finally started revealing the cast as shooting enters its final phase. Actor Divya Dev Pant has officially been signed in a lead role.
The production team had kept the cast under wraps since filming began on Chaitra 9. However, recent photos from the set confirmed the presence of actress Jharana Thapa and her daughter Suhana Thapa. The mother-daughter duo will share the screen together for the first time, playing the same relationship in the film.
Renowned music composer Hari Lamsal is making his directorial debut with the project. He has also written the story and screenplay. The film is said to present an emotional social story about a father’s sacrifices and struggles for his child’s future.
Produced under the Artistic Entertainment banner by Basanta Lamsal, the movie is currently being shot in different parts of Kathmandu. The release date will be announced after post-production is completed.
