Deepa Shree’s New Twist in ‘Parbati’ Ratyauli Song, Dances Disguised as a Man

Kathmandu: The makers of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Parbati’, set to release on August 28 (Bhadra 12), have unveiled its first Ratyauli song, ‘Nautuna Relaima’. The song was released on Friday through the OSR YouTube channel.

The vibrant music video features lead cast members Nita Dhungana, Deepa Shree Niraula, Anjali Adhikari, Siru Bista, Basundhara Bhusal, Asha Poudel, Ashok Darji, and Crimson Shrestha. Inspired by the traditional Ratyauli celebration performed by women during Nepali weddings, the video presents the festive custom in an entertaining and colorful way.

One of the song’s biggest highlights is Deepa Shree Niraula’s unique appearance in a male disguise, while Nita Dhungana appears in traditional female attire. Their playful chemistry and lively dance add a fresh twist to the traditional celebration.

The song is sung by Rachana Rimal, Saru Gautam, and Sahima Shrestha, with lyrics by Harka Saud and music composed by Deepak Sharma. Music arrangement, mixing, and mastering have been handled by Narendra Biyogi, while Ramji Lamichhane choreographed the energetic dance sequences.

Written and directed by Nita Dhungana, the film also stars Deepa Shree Niraula, Ashok Darji, Siru Bista, Radhika Kandel, Raj Pangeni Sharma, Rajendra Nepali, and Asha Poudel in key roles.

The screenplay has been penned by Shivam Adhikari, with cinematography by Sudip Baral and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane.

Shankar Pandey serves as the production manager and executive producer, while Harihar Adhikari is the producer. The film’s editing, teaser, and trailer are being handled by Sahil Khan, with poster design by Royal Bhimsen. Distribution rights have been acquired by FD Company, Apple Entertainment, and Rich Entertainment, while OSR has secured the film’s digital rights.
