Kathmandu: Veteran singer and songwriter Sujan Baraili has released his new Teej song, Putali Bagaincha, targeting this year’s Teej festival.
Baraili, who has been actively creating music for years, has released dozens of songs on YouTube. The new song has been made available through his official YouTube channel.
Baraili has provided the lyrics and music for the song, while he has also lent his voice alongside Anjita Bishwakarma. Ramesh Senchuri has arranged the music.
The song’s lyrics have drawn questions from some social media users, with some accusing the song of using words that could carry double meanings. However, Baraili has responded that how the lyrics are understood depends on the audience listening to and watching the song.
The music video features models Suresh Kohli and Aarushi Magar. Abhishek Wagle has handled the choreography, while the video was shot by Ajay Regmi and edited by Amrit Chapagain. Kumar KC has directed the music video.
