‘Magne Raja’ trailer released, a journey from poverty to wealth

Kathmandu – The trailer of the upcoming film Magne Raja, which is set to release on Bhadra 6 (August 22), has been made public. The trailer showcases the journey of the main character, played by Kedar Prasad Ghimire (widely known as Magne Budha), from poverty to wealth. It was launched during an event held in Kathmandu on Thursday and released on OSR Digital’s YouTube channel, where it received over 20,000 views within the first hour.

The 3-minute 40-second trailer reveals how the once-poor Magne Budha suddenly becomes rich, now owning millions in property. The man who once lived in a hut is now seen riding in helicopters, indicating a dramatic shift in his status. Toward the end of the trailer, a bulldozer is seen approaching his house, hinting at some mystery or conflict in the storyline. The film seems to carry elements of suspense, and it appears that audiences will enjoy immersing themselves in the narrative.

Alongside Magne Budha, the film features performances by Barsha Siwakoti, Shishir Bangdel, Wilson Bikram Rai, Sharda Giri Kali Aama, and Miss Pavi, among others. Produced by Munal Ghimire, Magne Raja is written by Samipyaraj Timalsina and directed by Rishi Lamichhane.
